This past week, my blog posts were focused on taking your education into your own hands by reading, purchasing educational programs, and surrounding yourself with the right type of people. In this post, I’d like to take a moment to talk about the importance of attending live events every now and then.
I hold my own live events several times per year (I will be holding one January 23-25, 2015 in Orlando)
At live events (like mine) there is tons of energy and you can meet like-minded people who are working with the same methods as you and overcoming some of the same obstacles currently holding you back. You can also make contacts for potential partners on deals and connections to compare notes and success stories.
But perhaps you are concerned about the price of flying across the country and getting a hotel then you might want to consider signing up for webinars (online seminars). Of course, I and my team prepare webinars on a regular basis, but other educators like Robert Kiyosaki also have webinars that you can sign up and learn from. And don’t forget about the phenomenal people over at TED talks.
The point is this – live seminars and online webinars can provide you tons of information in a short time and can help you to connect with others who can help you reach your goals. They can be a crucial part of your self-education and a key component to your success.
During the past week, we have learned some ways to take control of your own education:
- Read books to help you reach your goals
- Sign up for educational programs
- Surround yourself with the right kind of people
- Go to live events and watch live webinars
You have the tools at your disposal – now the question is: will you use them?
