In my last blog post, I gave you a reading list that can help you to educate yourself. Have you picked up any of the books yet, or at least made plans to? I hope so, because ultimately you are responsible for the results you have in your life. The level of success you reach is a direct result of the amount and kind of education that you provide for yourself.
Today, let’s talk about another way for you to educate yourself: enroll in some educational programs.
Now, I’m not talking about going to night school to get a business degree; although I think that college is useful, it’s not the most effective way to make more money (as this video shows).
So what am I talking about? Here are some programs to help you get the kind of education you need to get ahead:
Webinars and online courses to teach you a specific skill set. Websites like Lynda.com can help you to learn more about building websites, business management, and graphic design. While you always have the option of contracting out work you need done, you can also learn a new skill if you deem it necessary.
Purchase educational programs from industry leaders. As an example, let’s talk about the programs that I make. I have spent over 10 years teaching people how to flip vacant land, flip tax delinquent houses, and invest in tax liens and tax deeds. My programs help people to learn new methods, navigate through county government bureaucracy, and to evaluate investments. Time and again people tell me how grateful they were to have purchased my educational program. So why not consider buying programs that teach you new methods and philosophies for reaching your goals?
Consider booking sessions with a coach. I have found that there is nothing like sessions in a coaching program to keep you motivated and to accelerate the learning process. Whether you choose someone local or even get in touch with one of my coaches (or even with me), a coaching program can be the quickest way to see real results in a relatively short period of time. (By the way, if you want more info about my coaching program just call (602) 712- 0176 and ask to speak to Christine or Joe).
The education you give yourself is like a foundation you lay for a building. How long the building stands and how tall it can rise into the sky will depend on the quality of that foundation. So don’t sell yourself short and get the best education possible.
