What is your “endgame”?
In other words, what is the specific number that you are working towards?
You already know my feelings on saving up a number for retirement – so that’s obviously not what I’m talking about. What I mean is this: what is the number of monthly cash flow that you are working towards?
That number should be enough to cover your expenses and to let you have some fun, and that number will change according to the level of luxury you are accustomed to or aim to reach. Once you have determined that number, you will be able to measure your progress and get psyched as you get near to reaching it.
