Great advice from Bill Gates

How much would you pay to spend a few minutes picking Bill Gates’ brain?

Well, the good news is that you don’t have to pay anything to get at least one AMAZING piece of advice from the founder of Microsoft. His father – Bill Gates Sr. – once shared a fascinating story that shed a lot of light on why Bill Jr. has reached so much success.

In Bill Sr.’s book “Showing Up for Life”, he tells about one time when Bill Jr. was nine years old and his parents and siblings all were in the car waiting for him to come out of the house. When he finally showed up, his mom asked: “Bill, where were you?” and he answered: “I was thinking, Mom. Don’t you guys ever just think?”

That habit of taking time to think stuck with Bill throughout his early years at Microsoft, eventually leading him to develop a product that would have constant demand. He created a market that would give him money for each upgrade of his product and made sure that his product came preinstalled on many household computers.

Today, Bill Gates is one of the richest men on Earth. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.

Bill Gates created a wealth-generation machine that runs without his daily involvement. Bill no longer has to worry about money and can focus his time and energy on doing what he loves: improving the lives of those who live in impoverished nations around the world.

Most of us aren’t computer geniuses on the verge of revolutionizing the way that people do business – but we can all try to imitate Bill Gates in one important way: taking the time to sit down to think and to find some sort of a Forever Cash asset to invest in.

When was the last time YOU took some time out to just sit and think?

Why not start today?
